MODERN JAZZ – FUSION – EXPERIMENTAL
Amphitrio was born out of friendship and a love for improvisation. This contemporary jazz project was founded in 2020 by pianist and composer Andrei Petrache, bassist Mike Alex, and percussionist Philip Goron—three musicians with strong roots in classical and alternative music.
Their sound blends modern jazz with Nordic influences, Balkan-oriental textures, and touches of heavy rock and electronic music. Each composition, written by Petrache, becomes a space for exploration, emotion, and creative freedom.
Amphitrio offers a fresh, cinematic take on jazz—one that’s bold, layered, and deeply personal.
