Jacob Collier is the young artist whom The Guardian named “Staggering and unique… Jazz’s new messiah” and who won the hearts of millions worldwide. On JazzTM Festival’s stage he’s going to launch his debut album.

He’s one of Quincy Jones favourite artists, who said about Jacob: “I have never in my life seen a talent like this… Beyond category. One of my favourite young artists on the planet – absolutely mind-blowing”. Tommy LiPuma, the famous music producer, winner of numerous Grammy Awards, believes that Jacob Collier is “One of the most talented individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with”

Recognized as one of the world’s most distinctive, inventive and prodigious young musicians, Jacob Collier combines elements of Jazz, A cappella, Groove, Folk, Trip-hop, Classical music, Brazilian music, Gospel. He became worldwide famous thanks to his reinterpretation of Stevie Wonder’s “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing”. His on stage debut was during Montreaux Jazz Festival, opening for Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea.

Since his first Youtube video Jacob Collier is continuously growing and is very much appreciated by big names of jazz such as Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Steve Vai and Chick Corea who called him ”magnificent”. Also Claude McKnight, founder of the vocal group Take 6, said about Jacob’s music that is “Ridiculously creative, and wonderfully sung! Love to hear this kind of stuff”.
