Paperjam is an event of improvised music founded in 2012 by bass player Mihai Moldoveanu. Initially intended as a medium of spontaneous expression which supposes instant creation, Paperjam supports and means musical exploration by offering the variety of guest musicians complete freedom of expression. Stylistically, Paperjam is somewhere between electronic music, rock, jazz and hip-hop. An EP called “Papercuts” was released in 2013.
The line-up created for JazzTM is featuring founding members Mihai Moldoveanu (bass) and Lucian Naste (guitar), joined by Alexei Țurcan (electronics, founding member of the band Travka, who also has his own electronic music project called “Tomma Alistar”) and Radu Pieloiu (drums, member of “Sebastian Spanache Trio”, “Brum” and “Helen”).
