For the youths in The Best Bad Trip, the complexity of classical music is as fascinating as the pure durity of punk. Eager to bring groovy and funky elements to their music, as a controlled imporvisation, or other techniques of contemporary music, their music is, at the same time, rough and sensitive, simple and complex, orderly and chaotic, with elements from the west and the east. The band members have studied jazz, they use traditional elements of the genre, and improvisation plays a major role in their music. Nevertheless, it can be characterized as eclectic, with intrinsic structures.
