Pino Jodice is a pianist, composer, arranger, and jazz conductor. He was born in Naples and graduated in Piano in 1987, studied Jazz Piano in Siena under the guidance of Franco D’Andrea. He is currently Professor of Jazz Composition at the “G. Verdi” in Milan and he’s the founder and Director of the PJO – “Pino Jodice Jazz Orchestra”, of the OJP – Parthenopea Jazz Orchestra. He also collaborates as a pianist, conductor, composer, and arranger with the PMJO – Jazz Orchestra of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, the SNJO – Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, and many more. Pino has won numerous international composition and arrangement competitions for jazz orchestra and rhythmic-symphonic jazz orchestra. His curriculum includes names like Billy Cobham, Tommy Smith, Bradford Marsalis, Dick Oatts, Maria Schneider, Gary Burton, John Scofield, George Garzone, Yusef Lateef, Mike Stern, Rick Margitza, Kenny Wheeler, Dave Douglas, Richard Galliano, Bob Brookmeyer.
He also performed with some of the greatest Italian Pop artists like Lucio Dalla, Mina, Mario Biondi, and many others and in most of the most prestigious stages of Europe such as Umbria Jazz, North Sea Jazz Festival, Philharmonie Berlin, and many others.

Blewitt is a group born from the meeting of three musicians to share their musical visions. The intent is to make music free of the restrictions of the musical genre. The result is a synthesis of classical music, jazz, and rock, with influences widening from Neo-Soul to Mediterranean ethnic music, from avant-garde music to traditional jazz.
The group, made up of Stefano Proietti (piano), Oscar Cherici (electric bass and double bass), and Gian Marco De Nisi (drums) it’s expanding its musical vision by collaborating with some of the best European jazz masters. Pino Jodice meets Blewitt is a concert that connects two different generations through music, both with the mission of creating new, exciting music.
